One month until our first event of 2017… Countdown in Lincoln!

The oldest Co-event returns for its 13th year!

All the details you need are available HERE, and a report from last year’s event is HERE

Some extra info…

If you’re keen to come but need to stay over, you can get 26% off Travelodge bookings with the code BOXINGDAY, if booked by 29/12. The Travelodge you’ll want to book is the Thorpe-on-the-Hill one on Lincoln Road – here’s a link to its page on the ‘Lodge website. There are other hotels in the area, but this is where most attendees stay.

Most people stay over on the Friday and Saturday night, as the majority of players go to the Fox and Hounds pub on Newark Road both nights. We tend to spread out across the pub, but you’ll almost always find us hogging at least one of the dartboard or the pool table (both on the right-hand side of the building)! Introduce yourself, and you’ll be making new friends in no time.

In the morning, many players congregate in the Little Chef right in front of the Travelodge. If you’re eagle-eyed, you may spot some wild Countdowners having an eating contest there. (What could be more wild than eating insane amounts of greasy breakfast food?)

But don’t worry if you can’t stay over. If you’re travelling up and/or back on the day, the nearest station is Hykeham station, but you can also get a taxi to the venue from nearby Lincoln Central station.
