Destination southeast Ireland for a seaside trip to Waterford on Saturday 27th July, as Eoin Jackson welcomed 19 entrants to an all-Irish gig at the Woodstown Activity Centre.
The heats stage consisted of five matches, using the nine-round format, which returned three players on five wins…
This was followed by three finals matches which were longer games. The winners of each group A, B and C are highlighted in pink.
Host Eoin had arranged an array of prizes, from bespoke “Countdown in Waterford” t-shirts to books on goats.
Our thanks to Eoin for organising this event in a third consecutive year; testament and credit to a strong Irish interest in the game of Countdown.
