Dublin has a lot to offer — treat yourself to a cold one in the Guinness Brewery, check out the bustling night life in Temple Bar, take an open top bus tour of the Fair City, and of course… play Countdown!
This year we will be moving to a new venue just outside the city centre — Farmer Brown’s pub, Clonskeagh — on Saturday 7th September. Doors open at 10.30am for an 11am kick off, and the event will finish by 6pm.
We will use the Bristol classroom method with big screen graphics, playing at least eight 9-round games — more if time will allow.
How do I get there by bus?
The venue is served by the number 11 bus from the city centre, three times an hour.
You can also get buses 46A and 145 to Donnybrook Church and again it’s a 10 minute walk to the venue.
For full details, take a look at the Dublin Bus website.
How do I get there from the airport?
If coming direct for a day trip, catch the Aircoach to Donnybrook and then it’s just a 10 minute walk to the venue.
As you’d expect in any capital city, there is a wealth of guesthouses and hotels. We don’t have any to recommend particularly, but if you need any pointers, drop us a note and we’ll see if we can help: email@example.com.
