Eddy says: “The third annual Countdown in Dublin tournament will take place on Saturday October 21st 2017 in the Old Punchbowl Pub in Booterstown!
Entry is lower than last year at the bargain price of €15, which includes a buffet lunch in the middle of the day. Payments can be made by sending €15 via gift payment on paypal to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The format is likely to be the same as last year, with eight 9-round games of Countdown done via the ‘classroom format’, in which everybody plays off the same letters/numbers on a screen, although this is to be confirmed.
The venue is a 15 minute bus ride from the city centre and is served by the 4 and 7 buses from O’Connell Street. The aircoach from Dublin Airport also stops at the nearest bus stop. Trains can also be gotten from the City Centre to Booterstown Dart Station which is just opposite the venue.
The last two years have both been very successful and enjoyable days so we hope to see as many of you here again this year!”
